Patricia Gardner received her bachelors in Theology from Boston College and her masters in Counseling Psychology from the Adler Institute. As a mother of eight and grandmother of two, Patricia writes with a heart rooted in faith and family. Her recent children’s books, 4 Sweet Sisters; 3 Silly Aunts and And Her Name Was Lucia, celebrate the joyful gifts of life and the special people God places along our path. Through simple, engaging stories, she highlights how each of us is part of God’s unique and loving plan.
These books are in addition to her first book, Traveling with Mary, which guides adult readers through the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius with the companionship of Mary, the mother of Christ. Across all her writing, Patricia invites others into a deeper friendship with God, accepting God's unconditional love for us.
Patricia gives retreats and lectures on Ignatian prayer, particularly focused on Mary's companionship in prayer.
